The school  promotes the overall growth of its students by organizing a variety of co curricular activities. Students get ample opportunity to sharpen their skills in public speaking, singing, dancing, acting and debating and above all  a feeling of cooperation is being instilled among the students.The school is divided into four houses and each house has a house master and a few teachers to guide the students. All competitions are house wise and they encourage the students to  participate actively in programmes so that they can score points for their respective houses. There are two specific periods allotted per week for the conduct of CCA programmes.These programmes are conducted in both the primary and secondary sections.           

We celebrate all the national festivals like Independence Day and Republic day and also some regional festivals like Onam with all its splendidness.This atmosphere helps to maintain a positive approach towards life. Students learn to cope up with the stress generated by examinations and the tight daily schedule, by  participating actively in CCA programmes.Students find out the true identity of their inner self and thus are turned out to be worthwhile citizens of tomorrow.           

All the activities are culminated into a grand annual cultural festival in the month of April. We at KVRB Kottayam are an integral part of nation building as we mould our students into  excellent citizens. 

Entire students of the Vidyalaya are divided into four houses:

• Narmada House

SITU Conducted Profeciency Test in English Language. Master Anish Mathew Chacko of Class XI and Kumari Ashley Tresa of Class XII secured First Rank in the Profeciency test

Balaram Digest Talent Test:

538 students participated in Balaram Digest Talent Search Examination.
